2023 Update
Time to install two more buoyancy tanks to replace the flotation noodles that make up the quota of the required 4 buoyancy tanks. Cut holes around the cockpit side deck scantlings to expose the previously installed flotation noodles and give access to the bulkhead at station 4.
This 3mm ply bulkhead at station 4 is to transfer the helmsman’s weight into the boat.
Layed up a fiberglass panel, glued, coved and glassed it onto the bulkhead to create the extra buoyancy tank (there was already a water tight bulkhead at station 6).
Closed it up with another fiberglass panel. Ready for some fairing and painting.
